The «NOMAD» Ethnocenter is a unique historical and ethnographic complex, scattered in the open air in the foothills of Ushkonyr, Almaty region – it is an immersion in the traditional culture of nomads, a revived history that guests can not only see, but also take an active part in.
Its creation is based on centuries-old traditions, culture and mode of life of nomadic tribes of the Great Steppe – Saks, Usuns, Kangyuyev, Turks, Kazakhs and many others. Everyone is here can learn to pile fabrics and lint-free carpets, felting felt, participate in the preparation of traditional Kazakh dishes with their subsequent tasting.
