Kazakhstan today is truly recognizable and respected in the world of tennis. And the famous owner of the “antique dish” of Wimbledon, Elena Rybakina, is completely close to the top – on the fourth line of the WTA (The Women’s Tennis Association) women’s ranking.

Two years ago, the capital, Astana, hosted the ATP 500 tournament. It was attended by such A-list stars as Novak Djokovic, Carlos Alcaraz, Daniil Medvedev, Andrei Rublev and others.

The ATP 250 men’s tournament is a major sporting event that takes place in 30 countries. There are 40 tournaments in this category, and victory brings the tennis player 250 points towards the ATP ranking. The prize fund ranges from 630 thousand to 1.26 million US dollars. Elite tennis players also participate in the ATP 250 series, but, as a rule, at these tournaments it is often “second-tier” tennis players who make their presence known and earn points.

For true tennis fans from all over the world, amateurs and novice fans, the October ATP 250 Almaty Open is not just a great opportunity to come to Almaty to watch the twists and turns of the tournament and the yellow-green ball live.
